“I got involved with the skatepark committee because I always wanted St. Catharines to be recognized as a premiere skate scene, not only in Ontario, but all of Canada. So many sick skaters have already come out of this area, and having a world-class park would help breed the future Mark Appleyards. This time the park seems like it will happen…it’s too bad it took so long, cause now I’m too old and broken to really enjoy it!”
